Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring Donates Over 8,000 Items to Local Food Banks This Holiday Season
The Woodlands, TX – December 2024 – Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring proudly donated 8,218 canned goods and non-perishable items this holiday season to support the Montgomery County Food Bank and the Share Your Holiday Food Drive with ABC Channel 13 at the Ismaili Jamatkhana Community Center.
Throughout the month of November, families, students, and staff participated in the annual Caring and Giving Food Drive, a beloved initiative teaching children the importance of generosity and caring for others. With guidance from Benjamin, Primrose's character friend who inspires lessons of compassion and community, students learned firsthand how their contributions can make a meaningful impact.
“Giving back is at the heart of what we do,” said Arlena McLaughlin, Owner at Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring. “It’s incredible to see our students, families, and staff come together to support those in need, especially during the holiday season.”
For more than 40 years, Primrose Schools have been dedicated to making a difference in young lives through the Primrose Promise?, an initiative focused on fostering meaningful partnerships with parents, staff, and local communities to support underserved children and families.
Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s food drive and helped make the holiday season brighter for local families in need.
