Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring Collect More Than 10,000 Food Items for Local Families This Holiday Season

The Woodlands, TX- December 2025- Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring proudly concluded another successful holiday food drive, collecting 10,206 canned goods and non-perishable items for local families in need.
Throughout November, Primrose students, families, and staff participated in their annual Caring and Giving Food Drive, helping local families in need while learning the importance of generosity and caring for others. Donations this year benefited ABC13’s Share Your Holidays event with the Houston Food Bank, the Montgomery County Food Bank, and several local pantries and charitable organizations, providing essential resources throughout the holiday season and beyond.

“The generosity of our Primrose community continues to inspire us,” said Arlena McLaughlin, Owner of Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring. “Our families and staff came together with such kindness and compassion, and we are grateful to everyone who made this year’s drive so impactful.”

For more than four decades, Primrose Schools has supported children and families through Primrose Promise, the organization’s commitment to giving back and creating positive change in local communities. The Caring and Giving Food Drive is one of the many ways Primrose partners with families to instill empathy, responsibility, and meaningful citizenship in young learners.

Primrose Schools of The Woodlands and Spring thank all who joined in this year’s food drive, teaching children the power of generosity while delivering thousands of meals and hope to local families.
