The Future of Workforce and Immigration in Greater Houston and Montgomery County
The Houston region, home to 1.6 million immigrants, is key to understanding the impact that foreign-born workers have on local economic growth and community sustainability.
At this event, Center for Houston's Future, the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership will host a dialogue with The Woodlands' business leaders on immigration as a workforce matter.
The event will include a panel of Woodlands-area employers on immigration-related challenges to their businesses, an overview of current research and data on immigration in Greater Houston. In addition, there will be a short screening from the Rational Middle documentary series, which presents facts and frames them with historical context and personal stories.
Admission is open to the public, but registration is required to attend the event.
RSVP electronically at weblink.donorperfect.com/immigrationwoodlands before Friday, April 19.
