5Kish Beer Run On Tap in Woodforest Sept. 22

Woodforest is inviting the public to go on a beer run — not to the store, but rather through the community during the 5Kish Beer Run Saturday, Sept. 22, at Christine Allen Nature Park, 5831 Woodforest Parkway South. Kicking off the community’s annual Craft Fest event, the 5Kish Beer Run starts at 11 a.m. and finishes with a craft beer reward. Afterward, there will be live music, kids activities, margaritas for purchase and free beer samples from noon to 6 p.m. at the Craft Fest. The $35 race entry fee includes a t-shirt, medal, 16 oz. finisher pint and beer. Admission to Craft Fest is free.
