Woodforest to Start Thanksgiving with Annual Turkey Trot
Thanksgiving revelers can kick off Turkey Day with a brisk Turkey Trot through Woodforest, 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 22. Events in the race, which starts at Forest Island, 4665 Woodforest Parkway South, include the Mashed Potato Mile and the 5K Family Feast Walk/Run. A Harvest Half Mile is available for kids ages 12 and under. All runners will receive a long-sleeve shirt and a finisher medal. Race fees are $25-$35.
