Please bring check or cash for exact payment amount.\n\n\n\nThe Houston Chapter of the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation presents the annual United in Purple 5k in the scenic Rob Fleming Park. Join us\, Saturday November 20th as we walk to promote awareness\, honor the survivors\, and remember those who have passed from pancreatic cancer. This year we are honoring and Walking Strong with Crystale\, a dear friend and longtime supporter of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness who was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Please join us in showing Crystale support with strength in numbers.\n\n\n\nThis year\, it is estimated that over 60\,430 people in the United States will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic Cancer\, is the 3rd leading cause of cancer related deaths in the US. It is often referred to as the silent killer\, as symptoms generally do not present themselves until the later stages of the cancer. In an effort to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer and fund our programs\, we are having our annual United in Purple 5k in Texas!\n\n\n\nWith your support\, we are trying to bring our financial assistance numbers past $1\,250\,000! We have provided over $1\,135\,735 in financial assistance to families throughout America.\n\n\n\nPlease join us in the fight for hope and better survival rates.\n\n\n\nProceeds to benefit the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation\, a registered 501(c)3 organization.\n\n\n\nRace Shirts will be available for all paying race attendees registered prior to October 24th.\n\n\n\nCan't attend?
