DESCRIPTION:Montgomery County Food Bank to host Golfing in the Woods on Monday\, May 22 at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course.  The annual golf tournament\, chaired by MCFB Board Member Gil Staley\, features a day filled with golf festivities\, followed by dinner and awards.  Sponsorship opportunities and player registration available online at http://bit.ly/2mMcjQG  or by calling 936-271-8822.  All proceeds benefit hunger relief throughout Montgomery County.\n\n\n\nAn empty refrigerator\, a bare pantry\, a stomach crippled with hunger pains.  Can you recall a time when you have experienced any of these situations and were unable to turn it around?  On any given day\, up to 85\,000 neighbors in Montgomery County will not know where to find their next meal.  To help our neighbors most in need\, MCFB delivered 10.2 million pounds of fresh produce\, nutritious food\, household goods and non-perishable food items to the food-insecure throughout the County.  Your help made this possible.  Thank you for bringing a sense of stability and hope into the lives of those who need it most.
