DESCRIPTION:Background: \n\nThe Chamber is committed to the businesses and communities in which we live\, play and work.  We recognize the value that the nonprofit community provides us and are committed to supporting charitable causes.\n\nObjective:\n\nEnsure a constant commitment to a strong community presence.\n\nScope:\n\nEngage the Chamber community through participation with other nonprofits.\n\n\n\nThe August Meeting will be our Annual Strategic Planning Meeting.  Nonprofit members were asked to submit community service applications for review.  An email with copies of the applications was emailed to all all C.A.R.E.S. Committee Members. \n\n\n\nIf anyone is an employee or serves on the board for one of the nonprofit applicants\, you will be ineligible to attend the meeting to keep the selection process fair\, so the team can talk through each application freely. Finalize selections for the service projects for the year will be selected.  \n\n\n\nWe will resume our regularly scheduled monthly meetings in September.
