DESCRIPTION:The C.A.R.E.S. Committee  - August Meeting will be our Annual Strategic Planning Meeting.  We will review the various nonprofit applications that were submitted for consideration and finalize our calendar for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. \n\n\n\nAttendees that participate in this meeting cannot be employees or board member for any of the nonprofit organizations that applied for assistance.\n\n\n\nAll applications should be reviewed in advance of the meeting.  If you did not receive the link to review the applications\, please contact Cyndi Alvarado - cyndi.alvarado@woodlandschamber.org.  \n\n\n\nBackground: \n\nThe Chamber is committed to the businesses and communities in which we live\, play and work.  We recognize the value that the nonprofit community provides us and are committed to supporting charitable causes.\n\nObjective:\n\nEnsure a constant commitment to a strong community presence.\n\nScope:\n\nEngage the Chamber community through participation with other nonprofits.\n\n\n\nThe team engages with our nonprofit members and completes monthly community service projects.\n\n\n\nIf you have a heart for giving back to your community\, we invite you to join us.
